When things outside our control or ability to change affect our day-to-day life triggers fight or flight responses or no response.
Whichever response you take, be sure to no harm yourself or your family. Long ranch projections of your actions should factor in your choices.
We do no harm as Buddhists, that holds true for monastics and laity.
Keep your mind peaceful, meditate on your choices present. Do not choose in anger or fear, but make certain your choices are supportive.
Do your best. Keep hopeful.
